Excello Machine Company, Inc. serves the printing industry by providing previously owned printing equipment to a global market and are specialists in bindery and folding carton related printing machines.
Working in a local West Michigan print shop, Mr. Claire Fox saw the need for a printing machine service company; and Excello Machine Company was founded in 1926.
In the early 1940’s, Excello Machine developed a focused specialization in converting Miehle cylinder letter presses to die cutters and also fabricated a hand-fed letterpress which was marketed throughout the United States.
In the 1950’s Excello became a dealer for the Miehle Company which imported Man Roland offset presses to the United States. Having installed new Roland presses in the Midwest through the 1970’s, with service being a key component to the success of Excello Machine Company, through the present day, Excello Machine continues to service Man Roland presses.
Always a family business, ownership migrated to son-in-law Dwight Hilliard in the 1960’s. In the 1990’s, ownership transitioned to son-in-law Mark Cassis where it solidly remains today.
Since that time, Excello Machine company has become a global supplier of previously owned printing, bindery, and folding carton equipment; parts and supplies; and turn-key expediters of printing machine removal, relocation and re-installation. We get it done, from start to finish and everything in between.
